Station Roles in Extended LAN Set-Up - 1300

Hiya,

I would like to set up 2x 1300 so as to connect another building LAN to the main office corp LAN.

At present I am running this as Main Office is in : Root AP role and far end office as Workgroup Bridge role. My concern is that I dont want wireless clients attempting to connect up to the root AP as this solution doesn't require it. From the Cisco documentation I cannot see the difference between this set up and running a 'root to non root' set up? Would this be better? What is the correct way to setup this kind of design. Any ideas much appreciated?

Thanks a lot.

In a point-to-point bridge configuration, two bridges connect two remote LAN networks using a wireless communication link (see Figure 1-4). The bridge connected to the main LAN network is classified as a root bridge and the other bridge is classified as a non-root bridge.
