I would like to suppress a warning event log entry on a WLC with the log ID #APF-6-USE_DEFAULT_CIPHER_SUITE
Is there any way to do this on WLC? It's a very chatty message that really isn't a warning in my opinion.

I am sorry to say that i am not able to find any command to supress the logs. Only command i can find is To delete the existing event log and create an empty event log file for a specific access point or for all access points joined to the controller, enter this command:
clear ap-eventlog {specific Cisco_AP | all}

These are informational level (sev 6) syslog messages. Unless you really want to monitor all of those, I would only monitor error (3) or warnings(4) level & below syslogs. If you want you can go notification (5) level syslogs messages if above is not sufficient.

In these WLCs you cannot suppress a particular syslong msg. This feature available in IOS based devices (router switch, etc). Here how you can do it on that type of device.
