switching cisco Access point 9117AXI-E from local to flex

I have a cisco ap 9117AXI that is managed by a cisco 9800-cl 17.5.1. I would like to swith the AP mode from local to flex. but flex is not available in the list.

You cannot change the AP mode back to Flex under the AP in 9800, Just change the site tag where you have flex profile defined (under the site tag you must have local site state disabled). For more understanding of the tags you may refer the below link.
