telephony-service load command 8821 missing

Hello,

(config)#telephony-service
(config-telephony)#load ? [...] 7971 Cisco IP Phone 7971 7975 Cisco IP Phone 7975 7985 Cisco IP Phone 7985 8941 Cisco IP Phone 8941 8945 Cisco IP Phone 8945 ata ATA phone emulation for analog phone

The phones I have are CP-8821 phones.

What am I supposed to do?

I need to run a command like:

(config-telephony)# load 7971 SCCP70.8-3-3S.loads

What is this for a product where you are trying to load the image?
I guess it's a callmanager? If yes, what version are you running?
You might need an update/patch to get the newer models supported.

This is a 4331 ISR with CUCME.

Does the two commands below tell you more about the versions of the software running on it?

isr4331# show version

As per below link, it supported in CUCM 10.5.2 & onward. Pls check your CUCM version is updated to it

I cannot download https://software.cisco.com/download/home/285963825/type/282074299/release/10.5%25282.16134%2529

It says "Service contract required". "To Download this software, you must have a valid service contract associated to your Cisco.com profile."

What can I do? My hardware is brand new, I bought the 8821 phones along with the ISR4331.

 

Also it's CUCME that I have not CUCM...

Please contact your sales partner. You either haven't bought a support contract (Cisco Smartnet in some countries), or your sales partner forgot to enable your Cisco account with the new products.

I can talk to my supplier but it would be really really helpful if someone could answer certainly the two questions below:

 

Can you confirm  that the version of the CUCME that I have is 10.5 given the results of the command I sent in an earlier post?

isr4331# show telephony-service
CONFIG (Version=10.5)

 

Can I say that FOR SURE Cisco CP_8821 phones are not supported by the version of the CUCME that I have?

I haven't worked with the ISR, but I think you can login to the CUCME webinterface and there you should see the exact version. I think you should also see the file on the filesystem (dir command).
