Hi,
I've been trying to configure 4 aironet 1852 APs with a 2504 wireless controler and not having any luck.
This is not my area of expertise(I usually work with telephony) and english is not my first language, please bear with me.
All the devices are in the same vlan, I've tried with all the switch ports in trunk and with only the controller in trunk and the APs in access. (I can't find anywhere the right way to do this)
The controller is configured, but does not seem to find any of the APs.
The only thing I managed to do is to get a AP to function on this own. Even that way the other APs are not joining the AP network.
What can I be doing wrong?
I've read somewhere that this APs dont work with the controller (even though my provider told me they were compatible), is that true?
In any case, they should work alone joining the master AP.
Also, there is one AP that is resisting to the factory reset, I've tried with the mode button and with the cli comands. Any ideas?
Thank you!

From your WLC CLI, post "show sysinfo" output.
You need to ensure your WLC got at least 8.1.131.x or higher software version to support 1852s. Pls refer below compatibility matrix for details (table 2)

Since you got 7.6.x you have to upgrade.(suggest to go to 8.2.130.0)
Follow the instructions on release notes as it describe the procedure. First of all you need to download the image from cisco.com (assume you have account and maintenance for the product)
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/release/notes/crn82mr2.html#pgfId-1318425
Software upgrade won't impact licenses
