Hello All,
I have a WLC 4402 with 16 AP's in my existing infrastructure, integrated with my 2008 Active Directory. I would like to extend the wireless infrastructure to a second office location, which we have T3 MPLS connection too.
My question is.... Do I need a second WLC in that location to handle approc 20 AP's ? If so can they be configured redundant to each other ?
Thanks
Colin

it may depend..
How many APs does eachWLC support? it could either 12, 25 or 50...

well then you have a total of 36 APs with 2 WLCs that can handle 50 APs..
So that is OK... you can use the other onein the remote location handling the APs..
Or you can setup both controllers in th e same location but configuring APs in H-REAP mode with locacl switching if bandwidth is a problem...
