Unspecified session lost for hidden ssid

I'm using wlan as hidden for WLC5520.

I'm simply using it as a psk,
It is said that the terminal ends the session unspecified and asks for psk again.

session timeout or idle timeout is unchecked.

The device is intel ax211.

Is this a hidden problem?
Is it a problem with the terminal's wireless LAN card setting?

1. What software version are you using on the 5520?
It should be on latest version 8.10.196.0.

2. What driver version are you using? Make sure it's up to date:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19351/intel-wireless-wi-fi-drivers-for-windows-10-and-windows-11.html

3. Have you enabled debug for the client MAC address and run the results through the Debug Analyzer (link below)?

Can you share more info about the problem statement please. Like users are getting disconnected intermittently or what exactly the pattern/behaviour is?

Since it is aireos, disabling session timeout means max value and unchecked idle timeout means global idle timeout is working.

WLC : 5520(8.10.183.0)

AP : 9115, 2802, 2702..

WLAN : PSK, no Broadcast SSID

CLIENT : intel AX211 160MHz

It's the same as above

The issue is that the client accesses and uses the WLAN and asks for the PSK KEY value again as if the session is released.

The session timeout and idle timeout that you mentioned are set to the same as the capture

Where are the global settings for idle timeout?

Global idle timeout is available under Controller >> General tab.

Can you take a 'debug client <mac addr>' of the user reproducing the issue and share please.

It is difficult to collect debug right now.

Is there any issue regarding session timeout and idle timeout?

There is nothing as such...without debug client it's hard to speculate what's going on to be honest.

Upgrade to 8.10.196.0 as per TAC recommended releases.  There are literally hundreds of bug fixes since 8.10.183.0

Update to latest Intel driver (link provided in previous reply)

It's really not worth trying to work out what the problem is until you have ensured that the client and WLC software is up to date.  The earlier Intel drivers had severe bugs.
