Does Cisco plan on releasing a USB wireless adapter? If not, does anyone have any knowledge of a good USB vendor which supports non broadcasting of the SSID & 128 bit WEP that will work with the Cisco 1200 AP's?
We must use USB adapter's here and both Linksys & Netgear have issues when not broadcasting the SSID. With an upgraded firmwear, the Linksys can associate to the Cisco 1200 AP, but continues to send unencrypted packets and the AP drops the connection. The Netgear won't even associate with the latest firmware. Both adapters associate fine as soon as I turn broadcasting on.
Thanks,
Scott

I think Linksys USBs works pretty fine with the cisco APs. But some known issues are also there.

Anyone know if Cisco will release a USB wireless adapter. Some pc's we use only have USB ports, many other vendors have released USB adapters and we can't build a CISCO only solution because of this.
Do Cisco have a product roadmap ? I cant find one.
thanks for any info
