Using Adminstration menu logging in C9800 GUI

Hello , Professionals !!!

I have checked the C9800 GUI administration screen, Administration > Management > Logging.

It looks like I can set the “logging profile” here,
However, the setting was not reflected in the configuration, and there was no indication that logging was being output.

When will I use it?

PS:This screen was missing in the 17.13.1 release...

That page is for setting up export of logs to an external server.

If you're thinking of syslog that is set somewhere else:

This is what most people will be using.

And Sorry for late my response.

I asked to Cisco TAC about this topics.

I received a response that this is not a feature that is not officially supported.

Therefore, there is no mention of it in the Config Guide and the feature appears to have been removed.
