Dear Team,
I need to download the below licenses for a virtual controller but after i put the PAK number, it asks for a Product ID and serial number ? Which serial number should i put over there as it is not a physical controller?
L-AIR-CTVM-5-K9
L-LIC-CTVM-UPG
Thanks

To determine the controller’s product ID and serial number, choose Controller > Inventory on the controller GUI or enter the show license udi command on the controller CLI.
Information similar to the following appears on the controller CLI:
Device# PID SN UDI
------- -------------------- ----------------------- ---------------------------------
*0 AIR-CT5508-K9 FCW1308L030 AIR-CT5508-K9:FCW1308L030

What about when I want to download the license for the virtual controller(L-AIR-CTVM-5-K9) its self. what prodcut ID and serial number should i write? I cant go into the controller since i havent installed the controller yet :)

You have to install the vWLC first, which comes with an 60 day trial license. After you did that you can use the normal procedure.
If you don't have access to the .ova file to deploy the vWLC because you don't have a valid service contract (because you don't have an serial number yet..), you need to contact TAC so that they can provide an one-time-download for you.
