Virtual WLC High availability (HA)

hello,

 

i will configure two Virtual WLC on ha 

 

i will need one or two licenses for each controllers ?

what's the type of license needed

you will need license on both vWLC. It will be normal AP license.

HA AP SSO isn't supported on the vWLC.  You can have two vWLC doing redundancy with high availability configured on the AP.

please, after the ha configuration, when i do the modification in the primary vWLC, i will need to repeat the configuration for the second vWLC or his do it automatically by HA

you need to change manually on both WLCs. Config will not sync....

why you want to delete SW from WLC. Normally WLC keep two (primary and backup )Software

because i want do an upgrade 

when i transfert the new firmware by FTP server, i see the message 

 

01 FTP Failure while storing in flash! (0) rc:-1

try with TFTP server.

i am trying to configure ha on two vWLC

when I type this command at the second vWLC level:  config redundancy unit secondary

I find this message   : "Incorrect usage"

then the vWLC don't know this command 

 

i upgraded the vWLC but the same problem
