Virtual WLC large images installed but small image running

Ok so i installed a few virtual WLC's with the following image "Cisco_AIR_CTVM_LARGE-K9_8_2_110_0".

I can see this image is also running in the VM/cloud environment.

But when i logon to the WLC's it says vWLC config: Small and only 200 AP's are supported.

I am going to try and upgrade it to 8.2.121.0 LARGE through the normal AES upgrade process but according to this site this shouldnt work.

So i am not getting my hopes  up.

Did i miss something else ?

Upgrade does not work i get the message: Transfer failure images is not for this model

I just redeployed with the image AIR_CTVM_LARGE-K9_8_2_121_0.ova this shows the correct supported AP's and also Large config.
