Hi all,
Is there any tools/commands available for Cisco 2621XM (2600 series), with which we can measure the voice quality of VOIP and TDM calls. Is it possible to get some statistical information about the voice call.
What are the metrics used by Cisco for measuring Voice Quality?
Any links, answers and suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks

what type of ip phones?
if cisco ip phones, during a conversation, you can press the '?' twice to bring up the call statistics which includes the codec(s) used, jitter, packetLoss and MOS scoring.
cisco uses the following metrics for measuring voice quality:
* latency
* jitter
* packet loss
* MOS score
(all of the above statistics are gathered in the CDRs of every call; if enabled)
cisco does provide the 'class based qos config & statistics MIB' for use with SNMP as well as offer a free tool or two such as the QDM
(QoS deviceManager for monitoring routers and switches).
