I need an assistance of Cisco TAC engineer.
My customer has found a problem in CUWN deployments where Cisco Virtual Wireless Controllers are being used with Cisco 1242AG access points.
These APs ignore vWLC QoS profile configuration and apply SILVER QoS profile (a default one). In result, AP limit any WMM value with max allowed on SILVER QoS profile (which is 3). In result, WMM 3 is then mapped to DSCP AF21 by an AP, which is then converted to CS2 by WLC (customer trust CoS from WLC). In result, customer lose markings for Voice and Video and quality for those services degrade.
This problem only applicable to AP 1242AG, customer has tested all of them and all have the same behaviour. Others models were tested too - Cisco 1142 and Cisco 2602 are ok, even though they are connected to the same controller, have the same configuration, etc.
vWLC version is 7.6.100.0
this was downgraded recently from 7.6.120.0 due to the other bug that disconnected Guest users every 10 minutes (regardless time outs configuration or if they actively used the network or not)
any help or know bug for this?
