Hello,
We've recently deployed Cisco CSP Collector for device inventory and management. I have been able to configure snmp on all of the Switches, Routers, WLCs, but not the WAPs. We have 2 WLC models; C9800-CL; and WLC 5508s.
Do the WAPs support snmp?
Thanks in advance.

You can't setup snmp on controller joined access points. There is an snmp trap you can define to send traps to your server. Here is a link to the guide:

Thanks for the input.
It appears that there is a discrepancy between the options in the instructions contained in the document (link below) and the options available in the the WLC.
In Cisco document; step 2; it states "Choose the Wireless Traps tab.", however, there is no such option in the WLC.

Why not post a screen shot so we have something to look at? Because on my 9800, it is there.

I was asking for a screen shot from your controller. You understand this is for an snmp trap not setting up a community string.

Review the attached again. The second screenshot in the pdf was from the controller.
The options in the cisco url your provided don't match the options available in the WLC.

Are you able to scroll to the right?

Also, that config guide is for 17.4.x, the config guide for 17.3.x doesn't show snmp traps. I'm on 17.7.1

The only thing for the version you are on is syslog:

Yep software versions are crucial. Also sometimes the names of things change in the GUI and the docs lag behind. In this case it sounds like the feature just isn't supported in your version.
Back to your original question - you shouldn't be managing lightweight APs at all - everything is done with the WLC but SNMP support in 9800 is still catching up with the AireOS controllers and will probably never catch up completely because Cisco's emphasis now is on streaming telemetry.
TAC have kindly compiled this:https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/wireless/catalyst-9800-series-wireless-controllers/217460-monitor-catalyst-9800-wlc-via-snmp-with.html
There are a number of bugs raised for implementing SNMP support in 9800 (even more than those mentioned on that page).
If CSPC is having problems then raise those back to Cisco - we needed quite a lot of fixes to get CSPC working on our network and some of it still needs fixing in IOS for 9800 - for example https://bst.cloudapps.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCvz76383 on HA pair.
