Hi!
I have a WAP321 access point in a home environment, powered by PoE, and sharing two VLANs with VAPs, one home network, and one guest network.
The problem I have is that my download speeds are very slow, while my upload speeds are fine. I usually get around 20-40 Mbps down (access point to device), and 60-70 Mbps up (device to access point). This is tested both with speedtest (I have 100/100 fiber) and iperf on the local network.
I am happy with the upload speeds, and would like to have similar download speeds.
The only thing I can think of that would have this effect is QoS, but I can't find a way to turn QoS off completely. I don't really need QoS at this point. I have these QoS settings right now:
I need to use mixed n/g mode for compatibility, but I have tried 5 GHz and there was no difference. I have also tried different channels but found that channel 6 that I was already using was the best. I have also tried to use 100% transmit power with no difference. 20/40MHz was slower than 20 MHz.
My diagnostics file is attached. Any help would be appreciated.
/Erik

Erik,
Try testing another device does it behave the same way ?

Sounds like you tested this on your local network as well. Have you tried to transfer from one laptop on your wired and one laptop on the wireless.. Same results ?

Yep, I have tried iperf from wired gigabit to wireless, both ways. I have also tried file transfers. same results.

Yes, I upgraded the firmware about two weeks ago, and when I checked yesterday it was still the latest.

No, google is of no help at this point.
Maybe I'll have to give customer service a call...
