We are having problems with roaming our wireless network, the issue is very strange, the clients roam to other AP although the signal from the other AP is worse. The clients also disconnects and connects in the same AP. We did a site survey and everything is ok with the RFs.
Also we viewed that in our WCS the AP positions on the map is wrong.
My question is: The placement of the APs on the map is symbolic or has an impact in the RF management or client roaming on to controller?
Thanks in advance

It is symbolic , what affects is the actual placement of APs. The AP placement in MAP is just for your own understanding , so that you can get the heat maps and do Radio Resource management. Please use the below link for more clarification
