Hello gentlemen,
I turn the Red-Hat console of the WCS, but the username/password configured not allow me access.
I get an authentication error (telnet or SSH login).
I am sure that the username/password entered are correct.
WCS version is 4.2.110.0
Why can not I log in?
Have you any suggestions ?

Are you able to connect to WCS via your browser? In other words is WCS service up?
Are you able to login as a root on your linux server where WCS is installed?
You can reset the HTTP superuser login credentials to log back in.
Use the passwd script under /WCSROOT/bin/
(WCSROOT is where you installed WCS, probably /opt/WCS4.2.110.0/)

Hi,
I'm able to connect to WCS via browser.
The problem is that I'm not able to login as a root on linux server where WCS is installed.
Are the root linux username/password the same as for root browser username/password ?
If yes... I receive an authentication error to the login.
If no... I don't know which is the password (the user login seems to be correctly.....root.... any other user login is not accepted )
Have you any other suggestions ?
Best Regards,
Luca

Your issue at this point is not WCS related but Linux OS related.
You need to change your root password on linux.
For this, you need to use the standard procedure of password recovery on Linux with the GRUB:
Find here one example of redhat password recovery procedure:
