I have a wireless solution on campus that uses a gateway for authentication purposes. I do not know if any one is familiar Vernier networks but thats who we are using. VLANS are extended to the access point in order to contain all the wireless traffic. The access points pretty much just forward wireless traffic to the gateway.
We want to be able to use the WLSE for access point managemet purposes especially features residing under WLAN Radio Management.
From what i have read, i need to setup a WDS in order to be able make use of the WLAN Radio Management.
Given my wireless infrastructure will i still be able to keep client authentication process via my gateway solution if i were to implement WDS ?
Thanks

Radio management under SWAN is Cisco propietary. It does not work with access points from other vendors.

My bad. We are using Cisco 1200 series access points.
