Web Auth redirection issue on Guest WLAN

Hi All,

I have an query in regards to the web auth issue for the guest WLAN

1. On the WLC(2504) we have created a WLAN for corp users with web-auth
2. We replicated the same web-auth type access for the guest WLAN and applied mobility mode for this SSID
3. Though the WLAN parameters are identical as like the Anchor WLC(5508) guest SSID the users when connecting to the guest SSID in the 2504 WLC over the mgmt. vlan are not getting the web-auth page to input the credentials
4. The same user while trying to connect to a SSID in the local VLAN is prompted with a web-auth page to input credentials

Observations

• We are using the internal webpage only for redirection
• We have a virtual interface created for the web redirection but no hostname though
• It is accessible for SSID on the intranet Vlan but not for the SSID on the Mgmt Vlan over to anchor WLC
• Does the virtual interface on the foreign WLC needs to  match as the Anchor WLC? or is there any parameter I am missing here?

Instead management, how about creating a dummy interface on 2504 and map that to Guest SSID & test it ?
