Webauth on WLC

Has anyone got webauth working on a 4400 series WLC with a 3rd party certificate instead of the one on the controller ?

Acquire an unchained cert from CA (meaning signing root is trusted), Use external web-auth server which does support this optional feature, Have all valid intermediate CA root certs
