well as we know linksys has been bought but presently is a unique company under cisco umbrella
I think we will see more interactions once linksys is absorbed
just because it was acquired does not mean they are the same company

anyways best of luck

I am also very interested in this answer. I was not able to make it work. I spoke to Cisco and Linksys, they didn't seem to be able to resolve the issue either. I am still interested in a solution.
Good Luck!

Hello All,
Well good news and Bad news
I feel your pain, but wpc54g is not listed as being part of cisco compatible extensions program.
http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=33&scid=36&prid=507
the only linksys card I am aware of that is cisco leap CCX is the linksys wpc55ag
http://www.linksys.com/products/product.asp?grid=33&scid=36&prid=609
I went the rounds with linksys and had a tac case with cisco. finally I got the wpc55ag card to work, but it was never really impressive.
with cisco now offering an abg card this is what my company also now recommend
hope this helps...

I really appreciate your response. I gave up on Linksys.
I was a little disappointed that Cisco did not provide a solution. Considering Linksys is a division of Cisco.

Cisco is a great company! I meant no disrespect to Cisco. I was just a little disapponted.
Thanks for the link!

The other alternative if you wish to use a non-CCX adapter is to use a supplicant such as Meetinghouse's Aegis client. I have used this in the past on Linksys adapters and am currently using it on Centrino laptops. They do have a 15 day trial you can download http://www.mtghouse.com/
