What is needed to convert LWAP to Autonomous?

I have a customer that needs to convert their 3502i access point from Lightweight to Autonomous.  Is downloading the software covered under the smartnet contract, or do they need a different contract?

They should be able to go and download the IOS image with the WLC/AP covered under SmartNET.
