AS per the data sheet access point 4800 having two ethernet pots ● 2 Ethernet ports
● 100/1000/2500/5000 Multigigabit Ethernet (RJ-45) – IEEE 802.3bz ◦ Category 5e cabling ◦ Higher-quality 10GBASE-T (Category 6/6a) cabling
● 100/1000BASE-T autosensing (RJ-45 AUX port)
just want to clarify if we can use the AUX port as a lan port and of so it can be used as back uplink for access point lan connectvity .as i know from previos access points models we can Convert Cisco Wave 2 AP AUX Port to LAN Port as a summuty what is the function and feature for AUX port in access point4800
secondly
in case we have connected the access point with external DC power sourve and access point lan port as well to POE switch in this case we can have redunduncy in case of AC adapter fail or poe fail on the switch?

The 4800 AP supports automatic Link Aggregation (LAG) across its Ethernet and AUX ports. This provides up to 2 Gbps of uplink speed to the access point. When operating in LAG, the Multigigabit Ethernet port will operate as a single Gigabit Ethernet port.

AUX port is used for daisy-chaining. Not used widely in the field.
