What to replace 1242 mesh access points with?

We recently migrated off our centralized wireless hardware to new converged 5760/3850/3702 hardware.  Our mesh access points were somehow
overlooked in the upgrade. They are model 1242's, mounted inside, but connected to outdoor antennas mounted outside to provide outdoor coverage. From the look of the outdoor antennas, they might be model ANT2506.  We are looking for a replacement path from mesh 1242 access points still connected to a legacy 4404 controller. As the IOS/XE code does not support mesh, it seems we probably have to buy a 2504 controller running AireOS to support mesh.  The access point and antenna model migration path from the 1242/ANT2506 seems less clear.

Two of the access points are used as a backhaul - they have outdoor antennas lined up with each other from across a playing field. The distance between the two backhaul antennas is approximately 650 feet.   The other two do not face each other and are mounted in two different locations, and have outdoor antennas overlooking two different playing fields.

What new mesh access point and outdoor antenna model combinations could be used to replace the old ones?

Please ask questions if you need more information to make a suggestion.

I realize this  may be more of a pre sales question then a technical question, but if anyone has any suggestions I would like to hear them.

Also, to add to the previous configuration information, there are 5 access points in total, 3 in bridge mode and two in local mode.  The bridge mode AP's are configured with universal client access enabled, so they are also serving clients over the backhaul radios.
