When the client is in flexconnect mode, there is no ping to wlc.

A test is in progress.

In flexconnect environment, ping from client to WLC is not possible.
IP is accepted well and wireless can be used without problem.

In my opinion, I think ping should be done through WLC even in flexconnect mode.

tell me your opinions.

 - I can't see this as being a 'big requirement' ; clients should be able to function without knowledge of the supporting  infrastructure and don't need to access its components, as you are saying : your clients are working .

>>> I think ping should be done through WLC even in flexconnect mode <<<
no this is not correct in all cases, in flexconnect mode with local switching, packets are not sent to the WLC
the access-point drops the packets to a vlan on the connected switch, and packets are forwarded as of the client was connected to a switchport
reachability client-wlc depends on your vlan configuration  routing and accesslists

with central switching , packets pass through the wlc and the wlc drops the packets onto the vlan
but then again this is "transparent" the wlc is NOT the router for the vlan
