Hello, Here is a question. Sometimes we assign static ip address to AP, but the AP use dhcp ip address instead of the static ip address? When we check the AP, the static ip address is still there, but But the AP does not use it. Thank you

if you using a static IP address, you need to manual process to join the controller, that is management overhead.
if you like to reserve an IP address do in the DHCP reservation should work as i guess, if you like to keep the IP reserved.

Correct, if the AP's static configured gateway is not reachable it switches to DHCP.
