why I lose connections on ACU clients with VPN 3000 ? bug ?

We are piloting the Cisco VPN 3000 client and have had several reports of loss of network connectivity afer the VPN 3000 client 3.6.3(C) is installed. At least one report was on a Windows 2000 (5.00.2195, service pack 3) laptop that was running Aironet wireless ACU 5.02.005. The solution ended up being to re-install the ACU.

A Cisco Bug Toolkit search of the VPN 3000 Client software with argument ACU finds bug CSCdt91548 about a missing/bad msgina.dll DLL.

Does anyone know / experience about this issue or know the solution ?

Can't help you with the bug issue, but didn't anyone from Cisco talk to you about EAP vs. VPN?

Wireless security professionals can go on and on why VPN is not the best solution for wlans.
