Most of the Cisco Access points come with a console port and a Ethernet port. Console port can be used to directly access the AP and configure it. You can use the ethernet port to access the AP through a ethernet network. I dont think the AP come with the 9 pin serial ports. You could try using a AUI to convert between a RJ-45 and a serial port. For more information on AP have a look at the following URL.

Is this for remote console access, or are you trying to route the wireless traffic out through the GSM modem (i.e., dial-up to an ISP and allow the wireless clients to connect)?

If it's for remote console access, it looks like it's possible.

If it's for shared dial-up access, then you'd probably do better connecting the AP via ethernet to a PC or laptop, then use the port sharing features of windows or *nix to router the traffic between the wireless clients and the dial-up.

A few more details would be helpful.

Hi

It needs to be wireless - i need to have a com port on it to route Traffic via wireless over the GSM. Might have to use two devices but would prefer one.
