Hi,

Network Setup:

I have Four sites - Site A, Site B, Site C and Site D. Site A is having Two Antennas - Omni directional (24120) and Unidirectional (3338). Site B & C having 3338 Uni directional antenna is getting connected to Site A in it's Omni directional antenna. Site D (having omni directional antenna) is getting connected to Site A in it's Uni Directional Antenna. Two other sites having uni directional antenna are connected to Site D in it's omni directional antenna.

Details of Frequency used: Site A (Omni - root), B, C - 2412 MHz, Site D (Omni-root), Site A (Uni), two other sites - 2437 MHz

Problem Faced:

When Site A uni directinal antenna is associated with Site D omni directional anetnna, the sites B & C connected to omni of Site A starts fluctuating.

Note: Both Omni and Uni antennas in Site A are in the same Mast.

When one of the antenna is powered off, other antenna's link work perfectly. Can somebody tell me the reason for link fluctuation even after using non overlapping frequencies in the two antennas? Kindly help.

Regards,

R. Rajaraman

Hi,

Quick check, do you set the channel 1(2412) and channel 6 (2437) only on Site A Omnidirectional and Unidirectional bridge unit? How about those remote bridges in Site B and C - is it set to auto or manually set to channel 1? What about bridge in Site D?

Rgds,

AK
