Wireless AP License for WLC

Are the AP adder licenses for WLC perpetual or subsciption based? One of my customers had purchased wlc 2504 with 25 AP license. Now the support is nearing renewal. So I will have to provide only the support or the licenses need to be renewed??

The adder licences are perpetual for the 2504.

For support i believe you just need it on the WLC

What About the ECMU support that comes with L-LIC-2504-UPG partcode

Hi , 

The AP Licenses are perpectual,

ECMU  for the AP License is for any Software Application Updates,Software Maintenance Releases.

This needs to be renewed ,

Also the renewal of the Wireless Controller support is required for TAC access , Updates & Replacement .
