Hi,

I'd like to know your sugestions for what kind of antenna choice (yaggi or omni) if i have to interconnet with wireless bridges two towers? But these towers are not static they can move and distance beetween them can increase or decrease. Also i need that wireless connection don't drop when towers.

Thanks

Best Regards,

MC

Hi,

can you be more specific ? What is the minimum and maximum distance between the 2 towers ?

What is the height of the towers ?

Do they just move in 1 axis ? (always facing each other but moving back and forth) or are they moving so that they don't always face each other ?

Hi,

Towers are facing each other and move back and forth.

Maximum distance is 340 meters and minimum 50 meters.

Towers height are 50 meters

Thanks

MC

You can go with Yagi if the antenna direction is not changing, they provide the better gain. Omnis will be a bit "short" to cover over 300 meters.

How do they move?  Move closer or move side-to-side?

These towers cranes move on same rails so they can be closer or distant.
