Hi Fellow Cisco Techs,
We have implemented a 802.1x system using the WCS/WLC code 7.2 and 3500i AP series using CAPWAP. The authentication is done via ACS4.2 and proxied to AD from there. What I notcied was that in the passed log on ACS, the client reauthentcates with AD every random/appro 5 - 10 minutes. Is this the way the frame work is implemented or is this a setting on the WCS. I have not matched the times of passed log with the roaming times of the client.
Please advice.

This can be because of roaming yes. What eap are you using and what device?

Hi George,
Since we have a multidue of devices, we support PEAP,EAP-FAST and I have also seen CISCO-PEAP on the logs.
I think I will correlate the auth refresh logs with the roaming logs on the WLC and keep you posted.
