wireless client on "Idle" status

Hi Folks,

I have a deployment with 3650 MC/MA that use ISE server for authentication and authorisation.

We have observer since a couple of days that client on the switch turns to Idle status and eventually are unable to use the wireless network.

I have used the forced deauthentication command to resolve the issue. But the issue is coming back on daily basis.

Any idea on what the root cause could be. We are running 3.3.3SE on that switch.

Hi Karim,

i would suggest getting on 3.3.5 or 3.6.1. if you continue to see the issue after that please open a TAC case as troubleshooting idle clients will require TAC help.
