I am running 8.2 wireless controller version, looking at 8.3 trying to find out how many people are running 8.3 and how it is going.

Take a look at this document. It will list the AireOS code versions and what is recommended by TAC. This can help with your decision on upgrading or possible downgrading. Also will inform you of short lived vs long lived code trains.

The latest 8.2 and 8.3 are pretty good codes.

The next 8.3 release should come out end of January, I would wait for that one if you can. Check the thread about "8.3MR4 Beta" for a list of so far fixed bugs.

Little update, planned release of 8.3MR4 final was moved to end of February.
