I'm seeing a few issues with SSID sorting on the "simple" interface for the 2500 Series Wireless Controller (I assume this extends to other products as well).
In no particular order:
- Clicking the Column to Sort by WLAN SSID Doesn't work. The clients are not sorted.
- You can only see 25 or 50 clients at a time. This is a problem because the only workaround for sorting involves copy/paste into spreadsheet software.
- The "Advanced" interface doesn't show hostnames for connected clients, therefore cannot be used as a substitute for the new one.

Yes, I've tried chrome and safari, possibly even others. Very clearly sorting by SSID does not work. Filtering by SSID doesn't work either.

Hi
What are you trying to see, the filter option in 2504 works for me with no issues.
I would recommend for you to upgrade to the latest on 8.2 which is 8.2.166.0.
Please do try to upgrade also your browser or use internet explorer.
Also as an advise, by upgrading your wlc to 8.2.166.0 you will be avoiding this nasty bug
Let me know if it works.

when you click on the WLAN SSID Column, does it sort the list properly?

What I do is:
go to monitor tab
Select clients
Click on change filter
only selec "WLAN SSID" checkbox and select the ssid I want to see.
Click apply.
and it only shows me the clients on that ssid.
Is this what you want?

I see.
Are you using a mobility express solution?
Could you tell me the model of WLC you are using?
You can see this with "show inventory"
I have not test this on ME if that is the case.
Once you provide this I can test and let you know.
