Hi,

If its autonomous based APs, then its just disable broadcast SSID..

EN

conf t

dot11 ssid

no guest-mode

end

if its WLC based.. on the WLC >> WLAN >> Un check broadcast.

This will do it for you!!

Sorry, can you help me a little more,

I look entire configurations through webpage, and I didn't see any configuration about broadcasting in my 1242AG page.

ok!!! from the GUI.. we need to do the below..

AP GUI >> Security >> SSID Manager >> Scroll down to the bottom >> Guest Mode/Infrastructure SSID Settings                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                >> Single BSSID >> In the drop down Select NONE.

Just in case if we are using Multiple SSIDs, then

AP GUI >> Security >> SSID Manager >> Scroll down to the bottom >> Guest Mode/Infrastructure SSID Settings                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                >> Multiple BSSID >> In the drop down Select NONE.

Lemme know if this helps and please dont forget to rate the useful posts!!
