How can I configure the wireless not to be shown for users,but used by tham? On a Cisco 1242AG
I mean when someone do a wireless discovery not see my wireless name, but typing the name be able to connect it.

Hi,
If its autonomous based APs, then its just disable broadcast SSID..
EN
conf t
dot11 ssid
no guest-mode
end
if its WLC based.. on the WLC >> WLAN >> Un check broadcast.
This will do it for you!!

Sorry, can you help me a little more,
I look entire configurations through webpage, and I didn't see any configuration about broadcasting in my 1242AG page.

ok!!! from the GUI.. we need to do the below..
AP GUI >> Security >> SSID Manager >> Scroll down to the bottom >> Guest Mode/Infrastructure SSID Settings >> Single BSSID >> In the drop down Select NONE.
Just in case if we are using Multiple SSIDs, then
AP GUI >> Security >> SSID Manager >> Scroll down to the bottom >> Guest Mode/Infrastructure SSID Settings >> Multiple BSSID >> In the drop down Select NONE.
