i'm wondering if it would be possible to do a wlan an a distance of about 10 miles interconnecting users with a single pcmia card without connecting the users to internet ??
as i live in france is there a special norm i must respect ??
You would have to have access points all over that 10-mile range. I’m not sure I understand what you mean by a single pcmcia card. Can you clarify your design? Your local Cisco office should know what’s legal in your Country. Have you talked to them yet?
I sort of agree with thomas but would further go that you probable have to do 2 bridges instead of aps or pcmcia's. but then again it is according to what your design is.
