Wireless LAN Controller DHCP processing

Hello All, Just quick confirmation if you please. When a wireless client associates to an WLAN controller any DHCP requests are forwarded on by the interface defined in that WLAN's properties right? I remember reading somewhere that the DHCP requests are always forwarded out the defined management interface. Just wanted to verify one or the other.
