Hi all,
I am working on a wireless project to merge and manage our Wireless APs from the HQ and our remotes with a wireless LAN controller. My issue is all our remote do VPN in the HQ. Can I still manage our remote AP with the WLC in the HQ over the IPSEC VPN TUNNEL? And as we are a PCI certify company does this set up will have any effect for us?
Thanks,
Jean Paul....

There is no problem with VPN.
As long as the APs have ip connectivity towards the controller, you're good to go.
Since the 5.2 software release, the APs now discover the lowest path MTU before joining the WLC so all the extra encapsulations of VPN and WAN links are no longer any problem.

Thanks for the quick response NIC... What about the PCI issue? I think that should be Ok as the communication between AP and WCL will be encrypted anyway!

If you are already using VPN your traffic is encrypted. I would stand to say you are fine.
