Gday Everyone,
Been working on wireless maps for wcs. While creating the maps, do the internal structure (rooms, bathrooms etc ) have to be exactly scaled? Will just a layout of the rooms work? Anyone who has done the maps, how have you been doing it? Any advise please.
Our building is very old and looks there was never a proper scaled map the the building. So just trying to save time and get wireless maps in place as soon as possible.

It depends what you are looking for. If they are not scaled, then your heatmaps and client location will be as approximate as your map is not scaled.
As simple as that :-)

Yup. Got it. Was just lazy to get on the floor . Getting on the floor with tape measure.
On the same note, the labels for the APs in the map, can you make it any smaller or just appear when you hover mouse on it. Cos at some labels seem to hide other APs, and damn its painful.
