wireless mobility agent question

Hello,

I have created a switch peer group between two 3850's. Should I have to create all the WLAN's and ap-groups on the agent as well as the controller. This seems wrong. I would assume all setup would be done on the mobility controller and pushed to the agent but maybe I'm wrong.

Hi Dallas,

As of today you do not have the luxury of creating all WLAN/AP group config on your MC & then it will push it for MA.

So you have to configure all your MA identically for WLAN/AP group etc.

Hi,

Mobility Agent is a dedicated controller at the end of the day. It just depends on the Mobility controller for few of its requirements like Mobility. For everything else , you should consider it as a normal controller and configure individually as you do on CUWN WLCs.
