I have setup a wired and wireless multicast network and after doing some basic testing, I am happy with the fact that wired users can source IPmc traffic and wireless users can receive it.
I then tried the reverse, (wireless source to wired receiver) and this worked too. Out of curiosity i tried wireless source to wireless receiver (same SSID, laptops adjacent to each other), and this didnt work.
My searches so far havent found any useful information on this, anybody have any experience or ideas on this? Although I am not intending to support IPmc sources in this wireless deployment, i would still like to find out if it is possible or not...

Would you by any chance have P2P blocking enabled on your ssid ?
