wireless router signal detected but cannot connect

my cisco router has worked well in the past, now my computer detects the wireless internet signal but cannot connect to it, I am presently using a wired connection through the router, appreciate any help, thanks

Try power cycling the router.

Has your machine had a recent update to the drivers, perhaps via Windows Update?  Try seeing if there are new drivers you can download.  Try deleting the WiFi network off your PC and re-adding it.

Perhaps your Cisco WiFi has died.
