I have three 1200AP using 802.11b within the hallway. There is no eap or peap being used. Only static wep keys will be used between client and the ap's. All the three ap's will be on different channels 1,6,11. So if user has a wireless phone and walks away from first ap's range and get into the second ap range. will the phone call disconnect between that time of reassociation.

Hi,
if your AP are in the same subnet, your phone calls won`t get disconnected.
AFAIK Layer 3 roaming, (your APs in different subnets) is currently not supported on the wireless VoiP phone

Thanks for the reply michael. yes they are in the same subnet and the calls will not get disconnected. What difference does that makes. Isn't their still reassociation that needs to happen on the wireless side.
