Hi Folks,
I have a terrestrial wireless system which uses the line of sight configuration. But the tower which transmits to me is far away (27 Km), due to this distance I am finding a troubles in doing the alignment and positioning the antenna.
Is there software which analyze the input signal and tell me the strength, so that I can act based on the results and realign the antenna.
Thanks in advance

There are devices, called 'Field Strength Meters', that might help. The problem is that from 27km away, you can't be sure that you're locking onto the correct signal.
Depending on which wireless device you are using, there are usually "RSSI" indicators and / or RSSI test points.
Using the RSSI is usually better, because the receiver is configured to see only the transmitter you are looking for.
If your device has an RSSI test point, you can connect an (ANALOG - easier to use) voltmeter to those testpoints and point the antenna to the hghest needle deflection.
I believe the Ciso AP / bridges also will provide RSSI at the command prompt with a "show" or "debug" command, but I don't remember what the command is.
Here's a list of (possibly) helpful links:

Good Luck
