WLAN associated with Vlan in Flexconnect

Hi, AP is in Flexconnect mode with AireOS wlc. We need to link WLAN with Vlan so that client can get ip address from the vlan. But if topology is like the below, the link between WLAN and Valn might not be able to work.

WLC-----------SW1---------------Router---------------SW2-----------------AP . . . . . . . . . Client

                         vlan10                                                          v200/v20                           v200

vlan200(Native vlan) and vlan 20 are created at SW2. AP is trunked to SW2 and is able to ping the WLC. DHCP server1 is connected to SW1 and DHCP server 2 is connected to SW2.

The client need to get ip address from vlan20(DHCP server2). so at WLC, we need to associate WLAN (for example WLAN1 as ssid) with vlan20, but WLC does not know vlan20. How do we associate WLAN1 with vlan 20? Thank  you

Same as any flex local switching WLAN/VLAN.  Create a flexconnect group, map the WLAN to VLAN and add the APs to that flexconnect group.  You could also configure manually on each AP but simpler to use the group.  The WLC does not need to know about the VLAN - the AP just sends the traffic out the local switch trunk port tagged as vlan 20.

Thank you rrudling for your reply! Yes, you are correct. If the dhcp server is located at other site, the wlan-vlan still can work? for example, the dhcp server is located at switch3 which is connected to the Router and the AP is still connected to the SW2
