1. Can anyone recommend WLAN penetration tool? I have been hearing AirSnort and Wepcrack.
2. Can anyone recommend WLAN monitoring tool? I have been hearing AirMagnet and NAI WLAN sniffer.
Thanks,

I have used AirMagnet and it is both an excellent security and network engineering/architecture tool. I highly recommend it. I continue to work with AirMagnet engineers to develop additional features on a weekly basis. It is a highly evolving solution.
Regards to sniffing, I utilize Wildpacket's AiroPeek NX.

For those who might be interested, I have two AVI clips on my site for Airmagnet. The first is an short intro to the features of Airmagnet and the second covers some tools it has for testing a WLAN. Currently they are a download only since I do not have streaming set up yet.. so it's really for those with high speed access given the 8meg file size. Hopefully in a few weeks, I'll have the streaming up and running.
I also have screen shots and thumbnail review of NAI's version of the PDA Wireless sniffer. The AVI for that is in the final edits and should be up by the end of the week.
Keep in mind, that we are NOT video producers and I will never be a voiceover artist but you will get the idea :)

About 1/2 way down under sniffers.

We are using Kismet (www.kismetwireless.net) together with airsnort.
Kismet detects and analyzes WLANs und dumps all interesting data to disk, including weak packets for AirSnort.
