I did a search but did not find answers to these questions.
Here is my senario. I have a WLC 2500 and 14 APs. I want to have 3 WLANs for different types of traffic, each WLAN will be on a different VLAN and have its own SSID, authentication method and should be available on all APs, at least initially. Questions..
Can the WLC provide and/or forward DHCP for each WLAN separately? I would like to use my main DHCP server (Windows DC) for one of the WLANs and the WLC for the other two if possible.
I see that I can define the DHCP IP server for each WLAN but what do I set it to in order to use a local DHCP scope that I created on the WLC? I know its obvious and I am just over thinking it.
Thanks!

When using the WLC as a dhcp server, you need to have dhcp proxy enabled globally on the WLC and you need to add the WLC management IP address as the primary dhcp server in the dynamic interface. The interface that will use the windows dhcp will need to be entered in the dynamic interface for that particular vlan.

Thanks Scott, after reading that doc I decided to use my existing DHCP server as the build in one is pretty limited. It helped a lot!
