Hi All,
I am looking to upgrade my WLC 2504 from
Software Version 7.5.102.0
to
Software Version 8.0.110.0
is there any issue i can face during this process??
How i can check FUS first, do i have to update FUS then image or i can go directly to Software Version 8.0.110.0.
How i can check current FUS version??
Regards,
Zohaib

If you open the "monitor" screen on the WLC you can find the FUS image after the line "Field Recovery Image Version". This should be 7.6.101.1 with the latest FUS release (1.9.0.0).
Personally I always first perform the regular software update, reload the WLC, wait for the AP's to be updated and then upgrade the FUS. Upgrading the FUS will take at least 30 minutes, so make sure your maintenance window is big enough to do so.

I will share this when you upgrade the FUS ping the controller. You will lose connectivity to the controller for an extended period of time. DO NOT PULL THE POWER TO THE WLC. You will brick the controller.
